 characteristics of ACR processing aids 

1. The melting temperature of ACR is lower than that of PVC, and ACR melts earlier than PVC.

2. Because of its good compatibility with PVC, it can adhere to PVC particles after melting during processing, increase internal friction, increase shear torque and generate internal heat, so that the temperature distribution in the material is uniform and the degree of plasticization is uniform, thus promoting the uniform plasticization of PVC materials.

3. The processing aids have enough molecular weight to increase the viscosity (or strength) of the melt, increase the melt pressure and prevent the material from slipping during the processing, so as to increase the shear torque, greatly increase the friction heat between the melt and the metal surface, and promote the mixing uniformity and plasticization degree of PVC mixture.

 

                            PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

ACR processing aid is prepared by graft polymerization of methyl methacrylate with alkyl acrylate elastomer, which has a "core-shell" structure. Its "core" is a kind of low crosslinking acrylic rubber polymer, and its "shell" is a kind of methyl methacrylate graft polymer with good compatibility with PVC. Processing ACR is widely used in PVC products in China. The main purpose of processing ACR is to improve the processing properties of PVC. It is usually produced by grafting copolymerization of methyl methacrylate with methacrylate and acrylate. However, the heat transfer and shear force of PVC resin itself are not strong, resulting in uneven melt. ACR modifier can significantly improve the surface gloss of PVC and PVC products.
